Red Lion

A traditional pub in Bakewell and home of the famous pudding, MGI’s brief was to ensure that the refurbished pub should look like it had always been there and had developed organically over time, rather than being over-designed and becoming a pastiche of a traditional pub.

With that in mind, subtle details, traditional colours and close collaboration with the client on finishes and fixtures were required to ensure the refurbishment didn`t detract from the site`s existing charms.
