A once popular site, the Maltings had been shut down for a couple of years and begun to suffer vandalism and fall into disrepair when MGI were approached to provide a design that would give the site a new lease of life. The building interior is packed with original characterful features and MGI ensured that these were retained and enhanced through careful section of the fixtures and finishes.
Liberal use of rustic timbers, eclectic handmade tiles, tin ceiling tiles and feature lighting work hand in hand with the retained features to create a timeless pub interior that will never look aged or dated. The site is now a thriving business , especially popular with dog walkers. So much so that it has won “dog friendly pub of the year” twice in succession.
