Our client on this project was a large multi hotel operator who wanted to rejuvenate one of their hotel restaurants, which was previously underutilised and dated. Located adjacent to Victoria station in London the site benefits from constant footfall and our brief was to capture this passing trade with a unique design offering dining, drinking and evening entertainment that complemented the existing Edwardian structure. Great use of the space was made with the introduction of a large central bar servery which faces you as you enter the main entrance along with back to back curved booths that embrace diners in velvety opulence. All fixtures and fittings were specified to a high quality as befitting a high end venue and special care was taken with lighting installations that help to make the space feel more cosy and inviting despite the imposing double height space. In order to take full advantage of the height of the space a raised DJ booth was formed to the rear of the bar area, maximising trade space whilst also giving the DJ an imposing view over the revellers below.
