Queen Anne

Bury

Specific issues with this site were the central location of the bar servery, the under-utilised dining area to the right hand-side of the site, as well as the poorly laid out back of house area. These issues were overcome through the full redevelopment of the catering kitchen and storage areas to increase the potential capacity output of the food offer. The front of house trade areas and WC`s were fully refurbished with a mixture of reclaimed timbers, industrial fittings, William Morris wallpapers and an eclectic mix of furniture offering dining, mid height and poseur seating to cater to all customer bases. Specific areas were designated as “ drinking”, “dining” or “transitional” and were defined through the types of finishes and furniture used in each zone.

The right-hand dining area was reimagined as a conference room cum private dining suite which can now be separated from the main trade area for private functions. Since its refurbishment the Queen Anne has seen an increase in footfall and revenue far exceeding expectation in part due to it attracting a whole new customer base as a true destination dining venue.
