Found

Clerkenwell Ltd had operated a successful Latin American themed cocktail bar called Casita for a number for years before opting to develop a new bar concept in the basement area beneath their feet.

Work had already begun on the first fix elements of the project when MGI were approached to provide a detailed design concept for this subterranean cocktail bar. 

Without signage to announce its presence, the name “Found” is well deserved with its customer base built purely on word of mouth. A heavy velvet curtain conceals the entrance and once customers descend into the depths they are greeted with a compact bar area with 3 equally compact rooms off it. Incorporating dark oak flooring, a tin tile bar servery and metal based furniture as well as a muted decorations scheme and atmospheric lighting, Found is a cosy and inviting bar that offers an escape from the traditional bar scene 

Since its development Found has gone from strength to strength and continues to operate even after its older sibling, Casita , has closed down. It remains a hidden gem in  Shoreditch’s nightlife.
