Mission Mars is a multi-concept, multi-award winning, operator of high quality eating and drinking venues.
The site at the Albert Hall in Manchester, a Grade II Listed Building, had formerly been a nightclub before falling into disuse. Mission Mars had the vision to create a high-end, multi-functional venue, offering premium drinks, quality food and live entertainment, based on a traditional German beer hall model.
Our brief was to maintain and enhance the site’s existing features through specification of innovative products and design solutions to create a venue that would become a figurehead of Manchester’s drinking and dining industry. The synergy created between old and new features, along with the wide array of materials and finishes, created a space that is both warm and welcoming to all, whether it be the daytime trade frequenting the in-house bakery, or the multitude of people making the most of Manchester’s nightlife.
